| Senior UK Oware Open tournament | | The Orsett Showground, Grays, Essex RM16 3LB, 25th July 2009 | | | | The Oware Society announces that it will be hosting a Junior & Senior UK Open Oware Tournament on the Saturday the 25th of July 2009, at The Orsett Showground, Grays, Essex, RM16 3LB between the hours of 12pm - 6pm. Registration will take place at 11:30am. The prize fund is yet to be decided. These tournaments are part of the festivities being held at Anansekrom 2009 a Ghanaian cultural events organised by Noble Friends. As such there is a fee for entry onto the premises. For adults including tournament entry and a food voucher the fee is £25.00 children (under 16s) £15.00. If there is enough interest we will organise a minibus to take the Oware entourage. Coaches will be organised and will leave from Brixton Town Hall Elephant & Castle (Opposite The Tabernacle), West Hendon Sainsbury's (The Hyde) and Edmonton (in front of Asda). the cost for the coach is £10 for adults and £5 for a child.
